Insight
In today’s day and age, Insurance is an aspect that becomes essential for an individual when it comes to financial stability and ease of mind. According to a survey, 97% of adults consider insurance of some type as a necessity rather than an accessory. Many even called it a financial safety net.
For a long time, it was perceived that financial freedom meant having tons of savings. Now though times have changed and people are aware that along with saving assets, insuring these assets is as much if not more important. Hence the insurance industry has been seeing continuous surges over many decades. For the safety and well-being of the general public, many countries have made it mandatory to buy some form of basic insurance.
The Client
The client is very well-known and among the best insurance providers in Spain. They wanted to create a mobile application which makes life easier for users to buy and manage their insurance policies. We were delighted when they approached us for the project. They had already envisioned the application as to how it should look and feel like. They trusted us to make their vision come to reality. We understood the features and expectations they had. In order to meet their expectations we knew that what had to be done must be one of a kind as there are already many such platforms.
The Challenge
During the early phases of the project discussion, Flutter was just introduced and promised some groundbreaking features for the time being. We, being a company in the field of innovation, never look past such a challenge and opportunity. We proposed to the client the benefits and limitations of using Flutter for their project and the benefits surpassed the limitations which made us come to an agreement on using Flutter for the development of the project. This is how Thinkwik became one of the first companies to use Flutter for the development of a project on a global scale.
Being our first time with Flutter for the development there were bound to be challenges but in the end, it was a story with a happy ending. We were glad when the client told us that we not only reached, but exceeded their expectations.

Application Insight

The admin that keeps track and manages various aspects of the application.

- Keep track of the status of all actions and transactions performed.
- Virtual Wallet to keep all your points organized.
- Earn money at the comfort of your home:
- You can not only insure your money but can make them in the process.
- For all the actions done in the application like registering a policy, inviting a friend, renewing a policy, get points which are equivalent to the monetary unit of your location.
- For Example: The user is supposed to pay 150$ for renewal of a policy but they have 100 points in their wallet and the user decides to use those points, the renewal will now cost 50$.
- Detailed records of your policies, notification of expirations and status of claims.
We provided the client with an admin panel to manage the users and all aspects of the application.
User management
- The admin can see the full list and details of all the users registered in the app except for his saved bank accounts.
- The admin can edit, delete or ban a user on the platform.
- We integrated basic filter options that the admin can use to search by name, ID, email, insurance acquired/registered, etc.
Insurance management
- The admin can see the full list and details of all the users registered in the app except for his saved bank accounts.
- The admin can edit, delete or ban a user on the platform.
- We integrated basic filter options that the admin can use to search by name, ID, email, insurance acquired/registered, etc.
Points management
- The admin can set the number of points granted in the scenarios
- When a user buys a new insurance
- When a user renews an existing insurance
- Points granted to the User when a friend buys the insurance.
- The admin will see the full list, details and status of all point transactions done to the user’s account.
- Detailed records of your policies, notification of expirations and status of claims.
Claim management
- The admin can see the full list and details of the claims generated and received as well.
- The Admin can also change the status of the claim (in revision, accepted, rejected).
